Background and Interests
John has been a coach of the Boys Varsity Tennis team and JV Boys Basketball team as well as an assistant to the Varsity Football team and the Varsity Track team at Westminster Academy. He has been married to Nancy (a piano teacher at Pine Crest school) for 19 years. John's two daughters, Amanda and Emily, both graduated from Westminster Academy and are both currently students at the University of Florida. John and his family attend Coral Ridge Presbyterian church where John has been a member for 29 years and has served as an assistant in the high school youth group and as a timpanist for the Brass Ensemble Worship Team.

In high school, she excelled so highly in math and English that she was exempt from all math and English core curriculum courses in college.

Experience
Teri has taught test prep at 4 different universities for over 15 years: FAU, Nova, Lynn and Barry. She has taught: GRE (Graduate Record Exam for entering graduate school), GMAT (Graduate Mangement Admissions Test for entrance into MBA program), TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), and SAT/ACT. For the past 10 years, She has taught SAT/ACT classes as well as private tutoring for test prep, math, English, and science at Westminster Academy in Ft. Lauderdale. Teri’s students consistently report significant improvements in their exam scores. The largest portion of Teri’s students comes to her as the result of referrals from parents and/or students who have experienced great success with her. She receives exceptional evaluations from students who report that her teaching strategies and style simplify the test material and provide practical tactics that allow them to achieve significantly higher scores. There is no student incapable of achieving significant improvement in his or her standardized test scores as far as Teri is concerned. They were initially blessed with 4 children (Daniel, SarahAnne, Jacob and David), but knew their family was not yet complete. In 2005 they adopted Joshua and Caleb from Accra, Ghana in West Africa.

Stephanie taught middle and high school science for eight years at Harvest Community School in Jacksonville, Florida. She served as the Science Department Head at Harvest overseeing all middle and high school science teachers as well as designing the science curriculum flow from K-4 through 12th grade. She taught Biology, Chemistry, AP Chemistry, Physical Science, Marine Biology and Dual Enrollment Biology through Florida State College in Jacksonville during her years of teaching. For the past two years Stephanie has been home schooling her two children here in South Florida while also tutoring in math and science.

Background and Interests
Stephanie loves teaching middle and high school students. Showing the students how perfectly God created everything from the tiniest living organism to the solar system and beyond through science is her passion. She believes the more you learn about science, the more you will be in awe of how great our God is. Stepahnie and her husband Gary have been married for 16 years. They have two children Joshua (14) and Ashlyn (10).

Founder and Executive Director of Creation Studies Institute (www.creationstudies.org). He is a passionate speaker, and author. Tom has published an easy-to-understand book that shows evolution to be an idea in disarray entitled, "Evidence for Creation," and another book that exposes the catastrophic results of evolution called, "Evolution's Fatal Fruit: How Darwin's Tree of Life Brought Death to Millions." Tom is now involved producing creation based elementary age curriculum, "Investigate the Possibilities". For twenty years Tom was an Adjunct Professor of Chemistry at Broward College. And for over twenty five years he has hosted the radio program, Genesis Connection, which is now heard on Reach FM daily.

Background and Interests
Tom's hobbies are reading, sports, outdoor activities and chess. Tom is the father of 3 girls, and the grandfather of 4. Tom's wife, Linda, is a pediatric nurse.

Teaching the Bible to adult ladies at church and conducting a neighborhood Bible club at her home since 2000, Andrea finds the greatest joy in sharing God’s truth. Singing, performing, and writing are her passions as well. Working with teens is such a fulfilling and eternally significant ministry! With the home going of her pastor/teacher husband at thirty-six, Andrea has truly been blessed to see her faithful Savior take such good care of her and her now adult children all of which have also majored in education. Andrea enjoys proofing and editing, and is available to fine tune college-entry essays and other writing assignments for a fee of $35.

Experience: Edith taught for the Broward County Public School System and also substituted at Calvary Christian Academy. She was a teacher’s assistant for math at CEDAR. Her greatest experience comes from home educating her two children for 13 years.
Background: Edith Irizarry was born in Puerto Rico, raised in New York, and moved to Florida in 1990. Edith has been happily married to David for 26 years and has two children. Jovani attends FAU where he is pursing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Her youngest, Natalia, attends CEDAR and plays soccer for the South Florida HEAT. The Irizarrys have called Calvary Chapel Ft. Lauderdale their home church for the last 21 years. Edith has served in the children’s ministry for 16 years. As a family they enjoy vacationing in the mountains, fossil hunting, and watching movies.

Barbara has home schooled her daughters for the past 11 years. Her daughter Sarah is still home schooled. Her daughter Rachel attends Westminster Academy. She has been married to her husband Don for 25 years. Barbara and her family attend Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church for over 26 years. She has run the Coral Ridge Bookstore for 7 years, and sang on the Worship Team. Barbara loves to garden.

During his studies at USF, Kurt worked as a research assistant at the nationally recognized Center for Urban Transportation Research. Kurt has coauthored research published in the Transportation Research Record and has been privileged to present numerous times at Transportation Research Board annual meetings.

Kurt was born and raised in Florida, in the Tampa Bay area and moved to South Florida in 2018. Kurt loves studying the Bible and is fascinated with reconciling observational science/engineering, historical study, and a biblical framework of understanding to show the greatness of God's creation and story. These courses include Chemical Process Principles, Chemical Engineering Thermodynamics (undergraduate and advanced), and Fundamentals of Transport Phenomena. As a graduate research assistant, he performed computer simulations of polymeric and biological systems, co-authoring five scientific publications in peer-reviewed journals. He currently works for Creation Studies Institute in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. At Creation Studies Institute, he assists with the academic programs, research projects, and he leads the Spanish-outreach efforts.

Mariela McDaniel was born and raised in Puerto Rico and has lived in Florida since 1993. The McDaniels have homeschooled their four sons for thirteen years.  Mrs. McDaniel believes knowing Spanish equips our children for better job opportunities and greater usefulness in God's kingdom. Rob and Mariela worship and serve the Lord at Emmanuel Baptist Church in Coconut Creek since 1994 as a deacon and pianist respectively. They have been married for 20 years, and enjoy outdoor activities like camping, biking, and sports.

Mrs. Daryl Middlebrooks grew up in Fort Lauderdale, Florida and married a native Floridian, Todd, whom she has been happily married to for over twenty-five years. She has four children and began homeschooling when her first two sons were in first and second grades. Those two sons are college graduates now and her daughter is a freshman in college. She is currently home educating her youngest son who enjoys taking classes at CEDAR. She has been privileged to lead a women's Bible study in her home for many years.

Laura has also been a part of a team that is writing and filming online curriculum for a new startup educational experience.

Laura served 19 years in Children and Student Ministry in Miami. She also served with the North American Mission Board in Creative Arts and Evangelism. She loves traveling and spending time with her family and friends playing games. She loves any time she gets to spend with her two grown children.
