Java 1.3 or higher is required to be a co-presenter or receive remote support in a GatherPlace meeting.
If you see the Please Update Java message when trying to join a meeting, you'll need to install the latest version of Java to have any of the advanced features such as sharing your screen or to receive remote support in a GatherPlace meeting.
