Enabling JavaScript in a Browser

Internet Explorer 6, 7, and 8
  1. Click the Tools menu and select Internet Options from the menu to open the Internet Options dialog.

  2. Click the Security tab on the Internet Options dialog.

  3. Click the Custom Level button to open the Security Settings dialog.

  4. Scroll down until you see the Scripting section and select the Enable button for Active Scripting.

  5. Click the OK button on the Security Settings dialog.

  6. Click the Yes button in the confirmation window if you are prompted.

  7. Click the OK button on the Internet Options dialog.


Firefox 2 and 3
  1. Click the Tools menu and select Options... to open the Options dialog.

  2. Click the Content tab and select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.

  3. Click the OK button on the Options dialog.


Safari 2, 3, 4, and 5
  1. Click the Safari menu and select Preferences to open the Preferences dialog.

  2. Click the Security tab.

  3. Select the Enable JavaScript checkbox.

  4. Close the Preferences dialog.
